TM © ABOUT BELLYssimOEarly on in my life I lived in the North East, Tri-State area of the United States and actually started off in front of the camera as a child model and performer, but even then I was always more interested in what went on behind the lens. I vividly recall blowing a commercial because while we were shooting I kept looking over at the equipment. Well, that and the camera man who looked like David Cassidy, snicker. Okay, now that really dates me!I remember my first camera, I took it everywhere with me and dreamed of one day traveling the world to exotic places as a photographer for National Geographic. I'm not one to give up on my dreams, but that one is on hold, at least for now so I can pour my heart and soul into a couple of other dreams that finally came true.No dream has ever mattered more to me than being a mother and with my first baby on the way I was thrilled and wanted to capture every magical moment of my growing belly and my newborn in images just like the ones I had only seen in beautiful books and magazines.I booked a local, well known photogapher and anxiously awaited the day of our photo shoot. I splurged to get my hair done, picked out all the outfits, and I waited, and waited, and ... waited. She never showed up; she was out of state and had forgotten our appointment. Things happen, no problem, except she was booked up and couldn't ...wouldn't reschedule right away. So I scheduled another photographer, but it was too late. My baby had arrived and I missed capturing my magical moment forever. I never wanted to miss another magical moment again and with my knowledge of what goes on in front of the camera coupled with my and knowledge of photography, I began my career as a professional photographer and thus BELLYssimO was conceived. I love to help others capture their own magical moments and I also have the opportunity to work in the commercial industry too. Isn't life funny? With one little mishap I've come full circle. With BELLYssimO I am behind the lens with some of my own pretty cool equipment, I do quite a bit of commercial work, I have been able to travel; not to my hearts content yet, but I do travel a bit.
